The Snookies Cookies' story began in 1983 when Snookie and her husband opened the first store in Los Angeles.  After a year of selling individual cookies, coffee and sandwiches a customer made the suggestion of sending a box to Rick Dees on Kiis FM radio.  Rick tried   the cookies live on air and asked his listening audience "how would you like the most delicious fresh cookies delivered right to you?".  Back at cookie central the phones rang off the hook with requests for cookie deliveries. 

The delivery of cookies spawned the creation of many delightful gift packages that were delivered all over Southern California.  Snookies quickly outgrew the little place in L.A. and moved to a larger place in Glendale, CA.  Gone were the coffee and sandwiches; replaced with   a wide variety of gift packages, and Snookies was well on its way to becoming Hollywood's favorite gift basket company. 

In 1992 Peter Lieberman joined the company as a delivery driver.  With previous retail, sales and restaurant management experience, Peter quickly moved up to general manager.  Soon Snookie retired and Peter took over running the company and a new era began for Snookies Cookies. 

Snookies Cookies blossomed into one of the premiere gift basket companies on the west coast with unique gift packages of
irresistable cookies and gourmet offerings, including the signature cookies and milk packages and the famous giant hot air balloon basket.  With business booming, Snookies expanded into the building next door and reopened the retail store.  Customers were thrilled to have the additional space to shop and free samples were always offered. 

In 2006, now President, Peter left the company to pursue other interests.  Snookie had to come out of retirement to run things.   After a year, Snookie realized they liked retirement and decided to sell the company.  Peter came back to buy the company with an investor group in the summer of 2007.  The name was changed to Snookies Cookies & More with the new ownership to signal all of the wonderful new things that are to come. 

In the winter of 2009 Snookies moved down the street to our current location at 1609 Victory Blvd, Glendale, CA.  Now with a much nicer retail experience we are going back to our roots.  Here in the summer of 2010 we are serving gourmet coffee as we did in the beginning and we are proud to announce that we are now serving sandwiches... mouth-watering, decadent Ice cream Snookie sandwiches that is.  Please come in and enjoy.  We look forward to a wonderful future...
